FAO, VSF Briefs Chief Officer Lemreng on Post Distribution Monitoring Exercise

A team from the Food and Agriculture Organization in collaboration with VSF paid a courtesy visit to the Chief officer of agriculture and livestock Ms. Naomi Lemreng.

The team led by Daniel Irura of FAO and Abigael Melly of VSF briefed the Chief officer on post distribution monitoring exercises that they intend to do in collaboration with the County Government of West Pokot on the deworming, animal feed and cash transfers they did last year.

The exercise entails beneficiary interviews on the impact of the support they got. With 500 households benefited from the initiative, the team aims to fully monitor and see if the support has wholesomely impacted the beneficiaries.

Chief officer Naomi acknowledged and appreciated the support FAO and VSF has always given to the county government of West Pokot and promised to work closely with the organization for the benefit out farmers.

Areas covered by the monitoring exercise include Murpus, Miskwony, Subukwo, Nakuyen and Karon.
